Two suggested upgrades-chime in

I gave two suggested upgrades to the Dynon rep at the Independence fly-in.   They are a great company and listen to their customers, so if you like these, let them know.

First, increase the size of the AOA indicator on the PDF screen.  Ideally is would be the same size as the airspeed tape and right next to it.  Even better it would switch to the larger size below some user selected airspeed.

Second would be a trim control box.  I don't feel the need for the full autopilot control panel, but just hate the trim nag!  Let's have a box with just the trim control portion.

I too talked with Reps at OSH and have two suggestions:

1.  In certain split screen modes the joy toogle button on the right cannot be used to set baro, hdg, etc, it defaults to left.  Since this a high use button and we are flying wth our left hand it would be desireable to leave control for the right side.  Please create a configuration option to lock this in if desired, in other words define dominant control side.

2. Provide an easy method to toogle terrain on/off on Map page.

I would TOTALLY install this. I don't want or need the additional a/p knobs/panels (nor do I want to go cutting into my panel), but an autotrim controller that I can tuck away somewhere would be *awesome*.

I would like the D-> to default to first waypoint in Flightplan import and creation, like it did a few downgrades ago.
Im getting accustomed to having to push the direct to after every FP setup, but if it would be easy to put that feature back, I would sure appreciate it!

That's kludgy. Plus, why pay for buttons and knobs that are never going to get used?

Small box, minimal electronics, a few wires in-line with the trim motors and connection to SV. Cheaper, simpler, more elegant.
