I'm connecting a T1A9-1 UMA magnetic pickup installed on a Slick magneto to my Dynon system. Which EMS pin would I use for the signal wire?

I have that sensor on my aircraft. I did not install it but it is connected to pin 31which is not one of the RPM inputs but an enhanced input pin. I am not sure why they chose to connect it in this way but it works fine. Do have a look in the manual as there are a few pages discussing Tachometer sensors which may help.

That seems like a waste of an enhanced pin….

Would seem the same to me. I was just saying what the manual called for.

Not sure why it was done that way but just wanted to point out what works with that sensor.
