Hi all, Can you leave a skyview network cable unhooked up? Say if you are wiring for AP servos from a hub, but not installing them right now? or should you disconnect any unused extensions?

Don't see why not. That's effectively what you do with any spare ports in the hub or back of the screens. I would just make sure it's well secured and maybe insulate the connector to prevent potential shorts.

I made up a blank connector to cover up an unused port on a hub. You could do the same with your cable, construct a plug that has no pins in it and attach it to the free end. This would reduce the risk of any damage to exposed pins or any possible shorting.
Cheers

you can leave them unhooked, but, but as paul330 says, you want to make sure that you don't allow any grounding or shorts. SV network cables are female, so usually not a big deal, but you'll want to make sure.
