For the past 5 or 6 times I have booted up my 7" SkyView I have gotten a screen full of multi-colored vertical lines.  This can only be corrected by removing power and letting the unit shut down.  The boot then becomes normal until the unit has been left off for a day and then it happenes all over again.  This condition seems to be very consistent on the first power on each day.  Any Ideas? :-[

I had an issue where my SV700 with no battery backup would go into a reboot with the same symptoms you mention. That was resolved, I think with a firmware upgrade. I needed to power it off than reboot it and it would work okay, sometimes after 1-3 reboots.
Are you running the latest firmware? do you have enough power? if off the battery you may not have enough juice to get the display to boot-up correctly.

First off - are you running the latest software version? We've improved power handling and power up sequences in practically every release. If you are on the latest release, give our tech support staff a call at 425-402-0553 or an email at support at dynonavionics dot com.

Am running version 3.3.2.  I have a battery back-up. System is running 24VDC and at boot-up measures 24.3 VDC.  I have sent an email to support with a photo as I could not make one stick here.  Thanks for the help but the problem has yet to be resolved.

Removed the back-up battery from the system and the problem can no longer be duplicated. Battery is off for replacement.

Thank you all for your input.
