RV-8
Yesterday I uploaded the newest SV update and went flying. Noticed a couple of issues.
1. My flaps would not move, even when I used the VP-X interface. They were NOT faulted, and I was definitely slower than my programmed high-speed cut-out ( a feature of VPX to prevent overspeed on extension). Eventually, while slow-flighting on an RNAV approach, they started working. Don't know why.
2. After landing, and taxiing back, the white "ASPD LO" message displayed continually at the top of the PFD.
3. AOA "Beeps" seemed a little off.
4. After only a couple of loops, the Map was completely confused as to where I was, and which way I was going. It took almost 1 minute to display accurate data. I've done much more inverted flight than this, and never had an issue with GPS reception. (My antennae is mounted on my glareshield.)
I did another in-flight AOA calibration, and I THINK the problems are gone, but I ran out of daylight to really be sure.
Has anyone else had A/S, or Air-Ground issues with the newest upgrade?
Thanks.
