Updating Maps

Hi, please, Has the process and webpages changed for updating maps in HDX (experimental) version. I use to just download the whole package shown on the left side of the HDX download page. But it does take awhile uploading into my RV HDX system. I noticed today, the right side of the page use to offer just the map. But now it has a links that take you to a new page where you download just the maps. Am I seeing this right? You refer to this as the second method. Which is recommended?

If all I want to do is the 28-day maps update should I use the second method for downloading and uploading just the FAA maps files?

How often should I use the left side of the page and do a whole HDX system update? Once a year?

If you aren't updating software, which happens 1-3 times a year, in history, then you actually don't any of the files on the software download page. You instead want only the databases, which are here:

Okay, thanks. Got it. I'll update maps monthly and a few times a year I'll do the whole system in case you made a revision. thanks
