Currently have D-100, EMS 120 and AP74. My understanding is there is software to allow me to keep EMS 120 for engine monitoring and utilize a Skyview for EFIS. If true, would AP 74 go away also or is it too compatible?

If you just want a basic system then the Autopilot functions can be done with the Skyview & sell the AP74.

However if you want to have the a/pilot control to be separate then you will need the SV-AP-PANEL,another feature of this unit is it allows the 'Panel' to do "auto trimming" of the electric Roll & Pitch Trim (Ray Allen type) motors, if you have them.  I'd allow for space in the panel anyway, just in case you change your mind later.

To be clear: SkyView and the D120 do not talk at all. So you can essentially keep your D120 for your EMS if you'd like, and then use SkyView for EFIS and autopilot. The AP74 is not compatible with SkyView, but as Jake says, there is the SV-AP-PANEL that has both dedicated AP controls and an integrated trim controller.

Skyview and EMS don't talk? I swear Rob at Advanced just wrote a note on VAF that he had software to allow that?

The AF lines of products have that capability. The AF series doesn't yet talk to the SkyView EMS module (though it will soon), so that's one way of getting EMS information into those products. We don't currently have plans to add that capability to SkyView.
