Uploading Check Lists

I'm trying to create some check lists on my laptop. I find that once created, I can't edit any part of the checklists, is this normal? If so, is there a way around, please?

Not exactly sure what you're experiencing there. Can you take us through a sequence of steps in the support program that get you into that non-editable state?

Without the Dynon connected to the laptop, program opened

Chose product - <EFIS D100>

Chose Action - <Configure Checklist/Data panels>

Would you like to retrieve checklists stored on the intsrument? <No>

Then enters data list pages, but if I select one of my checklists, I can move the cursor and delete characters but any attempt to add a new character is met with a 'bong' and no entry

Peter...I know exactly what you are talking about as it happened to me when I first started to edit my checklists. What you need to do is left 'click' once on the red "Pages" box (under the Menus boxes) that you want to edit (it will highlight) and then you will be able to delete and enter data as you wish.

Thanks Dave, now I see what happens. If you don't click on the 'Page title' box the program thinks you are trying to edit the title only, so anyhting you do inside the page itself is ignored. Tricky - but well spotted!
