User-defined checklists on Skyview?

I use user-defined checklists on every flight on my D180.

Now I have a Skyview (on another aircraft).
Are user-defined checklists possible on Skyview?
How are they uploaded and accessed?

Many thanks,

Philip

Search the forums... Currently no plans to support checklists.

I would like the EFIS fail checklist... Oh wait, that won't work....

Well then it's back to printed cards.
No big deal really.
But I did find it convenient to have my lists right on the 180.

I appreciate your reply.

Turns out that use .pdf files on my ipad for checkists. There are some other apps that attempt to automate this, but nothing is as good as a black on white printed list on the ipad that you can zoom to what you need.

If the SkyView supported them, I would use them for start up and shut down.

Checkmate. Interactive checklist that works on Apple or Android devices.
I took the time to make up an electronic checklist, but still use a single laminated card that I periodically tweak. Staples is happy to see me every Spring.  :-/
I might change that habit if a checklist came up when I booted Skyview. The added fuel and database update reminders are nice examples of interactive checklists. ;)

How do you flyers support your iPads in flight?
A knee-pad type support, or some kind of bracket-arm mounted to the panel? What works best?

My aircraft has a stick, no yoke and there's no room for an ipad embedded in the panel.

Thanks

I mounted my mini iPad on the right side of the panel with a RAM mount. My panel is VFR. Single EFIS, radio, xponder, etc and I use VP-X (no breakers) so the right side of the panel is blank. This is a picture of the mount. It's an interesting picture. On the iPad you can see we are already into the red weather yet the sky outside is SKC. Looks like we get a bigger delay in the weather picture here in the north? ;)

Here's my HRII using the iPad mini. The ball mount is on the tunnel.
My Rv-9 ball mount is on the floor between the seats.

Thanks for the ipad mount ideas.
I do like RAM MOUNT parts so I'll do something
with one of those balls. There might be just enough space
on the right side of the panel.

Oddly, i am in the process of fabricating a clipboard mount to the RAM mounting system. This will replace my kneeboard And my iPad mini with paper. The iPad is just not that great for the short haul flights.
