In the timer menu, have an alarm clock function that wakes up the pilot on a autopilot assisted long VFR cross country. This could be either set by pilot or more preferably, it goes off by itself if the Skyview has no buttons pushed for more than 15 minutes. Maybe at 15 minutes it flashes an alarm, 30 seconds later it announces a warning in the headset and then 30 seconds after that it will rock the wings.
