Using a 2020 GPS with a TRIG TT22 XPDR

A neighbor with an experimental VFR only airplane is trying to solve the ADS-B out issue. He already has the TRIG TT22 transponder. Is it possible to use the SV-GPS-2020 GPS receiver as an ADS-B position out source with the TRIG transponder - but no SkyView?

The SV-GPS-2020 cannot be connected to the Trig TT22.

The Trig TN70 GPS receiver, or various certified GPS navigator units, can be connected to the TN70 for compliance with the FAA 2020 ADS-B Out mandate.
