I have electronics international fuel and oil pressure sensors. they appear to be much higher quality than the vdo sensor that I purchased from dynon. The problem is the EI sensors have four wires and the VDO only has one and uses the case for a ground. Can I use the EI pressure sensors or do I have to go back to the automotive style?

Re: using electronics international pressure senso

Juan,
You will most likely need to use our sensors. We don't know what the output from the EI senders are, so we can't calibrate it correctly. From the fact that they use four wires, it would seem that they don't even use the same type of sensing as we do.

We chose the VDO senders because they have been used on aircraft for a long time and are known to be accurate and reliable. They are also commonly availible and reasonably priced. We feel they are a great match for our EMS.
