Using Seattle Avionics charts

I took the bait and subscribed to SA for geo-ref charts. I used their windows app to install the databases on my USB sticks. All green bubbles. Seems good from SA Chart app point of view.
Now, am I supposed to delete the Dynon DBs on the same USB sticks so the SA's are used instead?

The impetus of the question above is that I flew an ILS approach yesterday using my 430W navigator which was the input to my HSI in LOC (magenta).
The approach as flown by the autopilot was flawless from intercept to VNAV all the way down to mins.

At no point could I pull up any approach plate for it on the HDX. I still had to use my Foreflight/iPad for geo-ref.
Granted, this was only my second flight ever behind the HDX, can someone share how to get the SA approach plates up the screen?
Ahh, but the documentation around this kind-a stinks.

On the screen push the "info" button, make sure the correct airport of interest is displayed, then press "PLT" for plates and you should get a menu of the available plates (ground maps plus approaches/departures) for that airport. If that does not appear then yes you have a file issue on the USB, or a physical problem with the USB or wiring to it.

The USB must be plugged into the screen to have the charts available. They aren't saved

Thanks @airguy, I went to the plane yesterday evening and sure enough, I was able to get the geo-ref charts up by following those simple steps. I hope this post will help others in the future.

Short answer, as noted, is to read the User's Manual. Longer answer is no, the Dynon (free) terrain and navigation databases are different from the SA VFR, IFR Lo, IFR High, approach plates, etc. Since the Dynon databases are actually *installed* on the Dynon SV itself (presume that you are doing this) you can delete it from the stick after uploading to SV if you want, it makes no difference.
