Dynon,

I understand this is a new feature with V11.  I did read the install instruction.  However, after loading V11 in a flying aircraft,  My disconnect switch is not working, and the warning appears.

However, when I go to the AP setup screen, and I test my disconnect switch - it does show the switch is working, going On and Off.

If the switch is actually working in setup menu - what does this really mean, and what is the fix?  Thanks  Tim

A few questions:

Which exact warning are you getting?
Do you have one or two displays?
If you have two servos, are both disconnects getting grounded?

Dynon,

I did speak to tech support.  I have an on/off toggle switch for the autopilot.  Appears this upgrade was supposed to detect for such things.

Why is the on/off toggle a bad things?  Tim

The AP disconnect switch serves a different purpose than powering up the servos. It's a quick disconnect and also doubles as a CWS button. If you hold it for more than two seconds the AP can engage in a specified mode. See the AP operation in the Pilot's Guide.

If you want a switch to disable the power to the servos you can put a switch between the servo power wires and the breaker or just pull the breaker. The servos should be powered up whenever Skyview is powered. I have a power switch to my servos but it's ON all the time.
