V. 15.3 question

In the new section of V. 15.3 It indicates that you can tie the HSI source to the flight plan source. I have looked everywhere in the install and operator manual and can't find how this is done. Anyone have a clue?

This would be nice to have to eliminate any ambiguity as to who is doing what.

We missed the documentation update for that one. It's under SYSTEM SETUP > ARINC 429, then all the way at the bottom.

Seems like forever ago when I started out with version 1.0. It has always been somewhat of an issue with me trying to figure out where to find stuff in the manuals. Sometimes it isn't so obvious whether or not it is in the install manual or pilot manual. Even knowing which manual, it is sometimes difficult to find unless the section is clear.
In this case, you didn't mention which manual and you failed to give a section number and I can't find a section called system setup in either manual--not very helpful to my lame brain on a bad day!

Bob M, Dynon was referring to the setup menu on your Skyview, not the documentation.

I set mine up today. Works fine. I cannot understand why this is under the ARINC area and not the PFD or Flight plan area. Really makes no sense to me - but hey I'm used to the Garmin mindset so don't expect much. ;D ;D

I agree, but tried it out and it works perfectly. I flew with it and it works perfectly. SO much easier to switch sources now.
