V11 load problem

Tried loading v11 - completed, but have no map and says no DB - have this at start up:

I'm currently loading the new map data - taking forever - so I can't really trouble shoot. Hoping the new map data takes care of it..?

Did it ever complete? I had this problem a few versions back and have a phobia now so very interested in status .

Yes it is fine after updating the map data. Just odd as I have never had any other package update act in this manner.

I had the same screen when I updated. All seems fine after the install.

As I think of this, were you loading the 2Gig terrain or the Obdata monthly database?
If the new terrain than I would expect a long delay to load that size, but if the OBDATA than I question why it would do that for such a small file.

I first loaded the V11 package. All other previous updates loaded with no issue. This time, my map data went away. No map showed up on the SV and I had a No DB message at the top of the screen - this has never happened with any previous update. Fortunately I also had the new map data on the thumbdrive to load the low res and the 2.5 GB file. And yes, it was the 2.5 GB that took a while. I was expecting that, but not the failure messages. In the end it all works as advertised with the new map data loaded.

I completed the upgrade, everything seemed to go very well , including a very quick database synch between the displays, which usually took forever in previous version.
The terrain took about 2 hours per display to complete.
Overall happy with process. No issues
