Very dim screen

I have just received my D10A back from Dynon repair, excellent service!!!! Just one question, out of the box the screen is very dim with a "internal battery low" message, indicating 13 volts. Is the dim screen totally due to the low battery and will normal brightness return on re-connection to the main bus?

Yes. The screen auto-dims as a response to the reduced amount of power available from the battery. 13V is really discharged too, so it will take 10+ hours on an external power source to get the internal battery to its "full" voltage of 16.2V.

Hi Thanks for the fast response, I have reconnected the unit and the screen returns to full brightness and the internal battery is charging away.
