Would it be possible to Vet members of this Forum. I find a lot of Scammers have made the Classified section
Untenable due to Scam approaches about items of scarcity .... vetting would be beneficial and a purchase procedure
prior to Purchase to prove Authenticity

Unlikely. There's little active administration here, and vetting isn't as easy as it sounds. There have been some decent tips on vetting actions you can take yourself, such as doing reverse image searches on Google. But unfortunately, there isn't much more available than that.

there is a website, StopForumSpam.com, you can go there for free and enter usernames, email addresses, or IP addresses into their search bar to see if the person you are dealing with generates a hit. If it does, it's very possible the person is trying to scam you. It's also possible that person has inherited an IP address that was previously used for scamming but it's not likely.

www.Images.google.com is a tool to search the internet for photos so if someone sends you a pic of an item, enter it into google image search and see if that photo was stolen from an earlier classifieds listing or forum post somewhere. Look very closely at photos, some scammers will take a photo of a computer screen so it won't generate a hit at google images.

if a person doesn't want to speak to you on the phone, they're probably a scammer. if they demand paypal "friends and family" they're probaby a scammer. just use common sense and remember if it's too good to be true, it's probably a scam.
