Dynon - with the new video adapter that you've released for the Skyview, the next OBVIOUS  :D question is using it with FLIR. There are some FLIR cameras available on the market (not cheap, but available), can you give us some guidance on which ones would be compatible with the video in? And secondly - would it be possible to toggle the background synthetic terrain with the FLIR image and keep the flight data overlaid? That would be just about the ultimate IFR approach machine right there...

The SkyView Video Input Adapter is compatible with the following video signals:
NTSC Composite
NTSC S-Video
PAL Composite
PAL S-Video

If a camera outputs one of the above formats, it will display on SkyView using the Video Input Adapter.

You can display video on a 50% or 100% page. Overlay / background video is not available.

SkyView has no control over the camera - it can display the image from the camera on a 50% page or a 100% page. There is no processing of the image available - just a "live stream". Thus, no, you cannot "zoom" on an image (controlled from SkyView). If you have separate camera controls installed, sure!

Will we be able to use the Dynon EFIS to zoom in on the image?

A video camera like the Flightcam 360 with a live feed to the Dynon will be excellent in the nose of tailwheel aircraft. No lag time like a wireless camera to a smartphone.
Does anyone have any photos of the image quality of a video image on the Skyview vs say a GoPro 3?

Composite and s-video are essentially your "standard" old TV signals, so if you have an HD source like a GoPro with the cable that spits out the composite, the picture will be necessarily output at a lower fidelity than the video files you'll have on the device itself. But it still looks really good on the display.

Video in is compatible with 7" displays that have been sold in about the last 15 months. It is not restricted to 10" displays.

Is there any kind of upgrade path or kit for the 7" display installed two years ago?

SkyView doesn't take the audio itself, but no reason you couldn't connect the audio output from your video device to an aux or music input on our (or any) intercom or audio panel.

Here are screen shots from my 7" Skyview, the Dynon video Adapter and Flightcam 360 camera. It's great being able to see on narrow taxiways.
