The HDX install Manual calls out pin #1 on the EMS module for the red voltmeter wire, but is unclear as to where to run that wire. Here’s the language:

Quote-
Voltmeter Inputs
Pins 1 and/or Pin 2 of the EMS D37 connector can be used to monitor voltage in your electrical system (or any other DC voltage source) from 10-30V DC. Connect either of the pins to a point in your electrical system that you wish to monitor.

Where exactly do folks run/terminate that wire? What should I be monitoring here?

Thanks for any guidance/suggestions.

Personally, using the Aeroelectric Connection's Z-14 diagram as a basis for my electrical system, I measure two voltages for pins 1 and 2 at the positive terminal of each of the two batteries. I figure that the voltage I care about is what the battery is doing (or being charged with). Some might want to measure bus voltage, but that should be equal to the battery voltage within 0.1V, if your master solenoid is working correctly and you used the appropriate feed wire size from the battery to the bus.
