I'm hoping someone can help with pointing me in the right direction as to why my VSR is displaying ---- instead of a FPM value. I'm feeding my HDX from an IFD550. Even if I use the Skyview GPS, I still have the same problem. It used to work without any issues but it is no longer showing any value. I've also notice that my departure airport doesn't show the green 'barber pole' extended runway lines any longer. I'm thinking I change something accidentally. Any ideas?

TIA!

The only thing that comes immediately to mind is - check which flight plan is being displayed on the map in the FPL menu.

I'm still having this issue. I've got the primary nav (Avidyne 540) set and showing on FPL. Anyone have ideas?

Is elevation data showing for the airport at the end of the flight plan?

Can you post a picture of what you're seeing? I'm no sure we're understanding what you're seeing vs expecting to see.

Sorry. I missed this reply. This is what I see. Destination is set, yet the VSR (bottom right) never displays FPM information no matter what the source (Dynon GPS or Avidyne IFD). Oddly, it did once upon a time and I have no idea what the installer changed to stop it working.

When using an external Navigation source (I have a Garmin 175), the VSR will NOT display on the Skyview. I've reported this as a bug to Dynon, but, well, it's not like they have an official bug reporting system, or a Defect Tracking System, or anyway of checking up on how bug reports are being dealt with. Additionally, I SOMETIMES have the VSR not show up when following a Skyview Flight Plan - I have not yet been able to determine what causes it to fail. I've reported this, as well, with the same result. Zip, nada. Strangely, with a two screen system (two HDX's) screen #2 will ALWAYS show the VSR to destination when on a Skyview flight plane, but SOMETIMES the primary screen won't.

WTF.
