I have added a back up battery to my Skyview. If I turn on my master and then quickly turn it off before the full software boot up, the Skyview continues to run and does not shut itself off. I assume it will eventually run down the backup battery. Will this hurt the battery, and how long will it take in a flight before it is fully charged from dead flat.? :(

Just press buttons 1, 2 and 5 simultaneously and it will shut down.

Also, if you update to v2.6, this will not happen and if it does, it will turn itself off after 1 minute.

I thought holding the 1-2-5 buttons is a warm boot and SV will just reboot and continue to run. I believe holding the 1 button will shut SV down - or turn it on.

The one minute timeout is a nice feature. I've flicked the master ON/OFF a few times while working on something only to come back the next day to find the backup battery dead.

If the unit has master power, 1,2,5 will reboot it. If it only has a battery, it will turn it off.
