I need some clarification about waypoints.
What is the procedure for entering waypoints into the SV?
Example: I am going to an airport in Indiana, where I live, how is that waypoint completed? If I divert from the original waypoint to another during the flight, how is that accomplished?
I have been reading the forum, and I do not really understand.
thanks
Dave

try page 7-32 in the latest user guide.
One option is the Google earth/AOPA flight planner- create user points and save as .gpx, than Load into SV.

Hi Dave - if you're not yet a SkyView owner, you may not have seen the pilots user guide that's available here.

The very short version is that you can dial in waypoints by identifier, name, or even location. You can also call up a list of nearest airports and other navaids. You can also point at something and navigate to it. All navigation can be either "direct-to", or part of a flight plan. If the manual doesn't clear that up for you, give our sales team a call at 425-402-0433 for a deeper explanation.
