Hi Guys

Just refitted my display which has been on its holidays at Dynon. The unit had been working perfectly but the Mac code showed it to be one of the "infested" units with diseased boards just waiting to attack at the worst possible time! (Dramatic ain't I)

I discussed it all with Steve at customer support who handled all the paperwork and organised transport etc. The display travelled to Dynon and return by UPS over the Pond and the total time from collection to delivery back here was a little over a week!

Well done Steve and all at Dynon for a job well done and thanks for being an example of how it should be when looking after Customers.

I'll second that...my unit was freezing up, etc (there's a thread on this) and Dynon had it repaired and back to me within about a week and a half, and because I was on business travel for that week, I lost essentially no flight time. Quick, professional, no-BS customer service...absolutely terrific management of a product defect. A lot of companies (are you listening, GoPro? :)) could take a lesson from Dynon's customer service.

Well done, indeed.

I called Dynon at 4:30pm, left a message to Manager --Kirk, Kirk called me back at 5:35pm, promised me that he will have Wayne to resolve my problem the next day. Wayne called me next morning and had Steve shipped a replacement unit (SV-D1000) with overnight delivery. I got the unit on the following day.

All paper work were done professionally by Steve, he issued me a new Map license code and the instruction to transfer all user data to new unit. Although I have to recalculate the fuel tank level sensor and ADAHRS, but I really don't mind after receiving their top notch service.

Well done Dynon!
