Hello wise ones!
I have a D120 showing "SPN" with yellow background from time to time during flight in the EGT field.
You can find an example picture in the EMS-D120 Pilot's User Guide on page 7-6. My problem looks quite like this pic.
I was not able to find out, what that means. The EMS has the latest firmware and was just returned from Dynon because another problem was repaired.

Thx 4 any hint on this!
Greetings, kai

This means "SPAN". It's warning you that your EGT's are farther apart than the limit you have set.

You can go into the EGT setup and adjust the alarm range or turn it off completely if you wish.

Ok, i understand.
One more question: I've set the EMS to "Rotax" settings. Should the EGT show "SPN" in this case? I thought, the Rotax setting sets all ranges (green yellow/red) to the right values for Rotax engines.

Thx again,
kai

The span alarm settings are under SENSORS>EGT and CHT, and can be toggled regardless of whether or not you have the rotax mode set.
