What has happened to my my maps?

I have a two screen SkyView system. I generally fly with left screen 50/50 PFD and engine, and the right screen full screen map.

On a recent startup, the map on the right screen was missing significant detail - everything was brown with basically just airports and limited topography, as seen in the image. The map normally looks like what I have displayed on the right side of the display on the left.

I have not adjusted any display settings. Both Dynon basemap and SA charts are up to date.

Any ideas as to what has happened and how to fix?

It looks like the Dynon GPS hasn’t locked onto the satellites yet. At least, that’s how mine looks when that happens. It has been happening alot lately after startup. Sometimes takes twenty minutes to get a solution.

The weather overlay is activated and the unit has not yet received any ADSB weather data. Go to Map options and deselect the weather overlay and all will be back to normal. NOte the weather overlay is activated separately for both displays

I suppose that is on purpose, so that if you aren't receiving weather data, you aren't misled into thinking that it is clear.
