Hi, I am wiring my D100 and D120 into the panel of my RANS S-19 Venterra with a JABIRU 3300. I am not sure what to do, if anything, with PINS 5, 16, and 17 on the D-120 37 pin connector. They are labeled as GROUND and the reference paragraph is 2.2. Unfortunately there is no reference to ground pins in that paragraph. Any ideas about their purpose?
Regards
John

They are standard to the supplied loom & should be used for various engine sensors, eg Kavlico or some VDO types, in the first instance. Otherwise they are just spare grounds, no need to connect them if not actually used as above, same applies to some other coloured wires in the loom. I usually remove any excess/unused wires as they can act as an 'antenna' to introduce "noise" into the system.
