Wi-Fi adapter FAULT

I plugged in the Wi - Fi adapter with its small cable to the back of the SV1000 and I put a password. However the status is FAULT.

Is what I badly plugged my adapter?

I was getting the same error this morning when I tried to set up my system. I had my aircraft identifier set as C_GDWH in aircraft information. I had to change it to CGDWH, no _ in between the C and G. It is now showing online. With the underscore in place the wifi setup was showing a space between the C and G (blank space) and it didn't accept it as a valid network name.

One thing to check: In SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > DISPLAY HARDWARE INFORMATION, what is the IP address?

Ah - I had the same FAULT trying to install mine. After talking to Dynon support I shipped it back for a replacement. Looks like it's just a bug for us non N number guys. Good to know. The replacement shipped while I was at Sun n Fun so I'll get to install it this week keeping in mind Colin's advise. Thanks Colin

Colin is right, thanks for the tip. Do not put any space into the registration of the aircraft. I removed the space and now everything works beautifully. It's a super idea the Wi - Fi.
