hello,
is there anything known about the parameter values for the WIDGET_FLAPS? the WIDGET_FLAPS shows the flaps pointing upward when the flaps are retracted and horizontal when the flaps are extended, is there any way to rotate this image to make it match the outside view more: eg horizontal when the flaps are retracted and down when the flaps are extended like the 'initial' angle for the WIDGET_ARC?

It sounds like you have a simple calibration issue, not a deep widget configuration issue. When you calibrate the flaps, you tell it what angle the flaps are at as you go through the calibration. It puts zero degrees horizontal, and supports both camber and reflex directions and shows them appropriately.

I'd say go through the flap calibration again, I think it will show what you want.

I don't think I have a calibration issue, the values presented match the normal numbers: 0deg for up and 40deg for max extended, but I was asking just for the display on the screen where the presentation was not as natural

simple fix - enter your flap degrees as negative numbers.  Then it will show the graphic correctly. I had the same brain block.

Also, I tweaked my elev and ail trims settings so that they showed center properly at neutral trim.

Ooops, never thought about that, sure that makes sense and I will try it tonight and see if that works better, thanks for resetting the thought process

I checked at home, I had initially entered the numbers for the flap calibration as 0 = up and -40 = down, that produced a graphic representation where the flap pointed upward when retracted and horizontal when extended. After redoing the calibration as 0 = up and 40 = down the graphic representation was much more natural with the indicated flap horizontal when retracted and pointing down when extended (see graphic)
