I installed two WiFi adapters on my 7" Skyview screens and have tried to connect using FltPlan Go.
Two devices (phone and tablet) will not connect.
FltPlan Go contacted Dynon and found that they have found the same problem, only on the 7" screen.
Does anyone use this same combination successfully?
FltPlan Go is working on a fix since June (2017).
There seems to be a lack of free Android Apps for the US.
Are there any 7" screen owners that have IOS Apps that function (well)?
I may have to switch to IOS if they don't come up with a fix.
Thanks.

I have the Dynon wi-fi modules installed in both of my SV-D-700's displays. Both Foreflight and WingX connect to the Dynon network just fine. Never had any issues with either app.
For Ads-B In service, I use the uAvionics "PingBuddy" with WingX. Working quite well for weather and limited traffic . . . until I do a full ADS-B 2020 upgrade.
I am running Skyview ver. 15.1

I have dual DYNON 7" screens with WIFI modules on each screen. My SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S2 tablet (Android) connects quickly to my SkyView WIFI. However, FltPlanGo only displays weather (no traffic) if I use the >EXTERNAL >ADS-B DEVICES >CUSTOM UNIT with port 4000. FltPlanGo knows about this "bug". I was told that it only affects Android units and that they are working with DYNON to correct it.

JP - Probably stating the obvious here and you have reviewed the install manual a number of times, but recheck your WIFI SETUP in SYSTEM SETUP. Also make sure to use use the extensions Dynon sent with the dongles if you are not currently doing so. Dynon has suggested that on some installations with direct WIFI dongle insertion into the back of the display, reception may be affected. If the STATUS line in setup says ONLINE it may be a device issue. If the STATUS is OFFLINE then it is something on the Dynon side.

N214ST- Yes have done that and more many times over.
The Android devices connect to the WiFi adapters- the Dynon's show the adapters are enabled- the problem is when I try to connect using FltPlan Go the devices show "Error failed to connect to the Dynon Panel".
I have a very, very, very old IPad and wanted to stay with Android (and free) if possible. But I will buy a new IOS device if it will enable me to make these things work.
I have full ADS-B in and out, I am trying to ultimately get something that will allow flight plan loading on my device at home and transfer it to the airplane later.
Also, I ultimately wanted something that could wirelessly work with a HUD unit such as the EPIC OPTIX- and it looks like FltPlan Go (Android) is out (for the 7" display) unless they come up with a fix.
GALIN-Do I understand you correctly? You can use the App to connect for weather, but instead of selecting "Dynon" you select "Custom unit" and enter 4000 under "port".
If this is not correct please walk me through it- sorry if I didn't understand.
Thanks again for the replys.

That is correct. Use the CUSTOM UNIT and enter port 4000. It will link up and after about 1 minute you will see it is receiving NOTAMS, TAFs, METARS and both RADAR data on the bottom right of the  EXTERNAL page. It takes about 5 minutes to download full WX data and obviously only if within range of an ADS-B tower.

Make sure you have the CONUS/REGIONAL RADAR and METARs activated under the ADS-B tab on the MAP page or you won't display them. I find getting METARs from a particular airport faster on the tablet than via the SkyView display.
