Wifi adapter question

I ordered the wifi adaptor the other day. The adaptor arrived today and included an extension cable. Question, is this cable extension to be used if enough room doesn't exist? Or can you just plug the wifi adaptor directly in the back of the sky view? Thanks

You can just plug it into the back.
