Wind intensity too high on D100 with release 5.1.1

I´ve recently updated to release 5.1.1 and I´am reading a too high wind intensity indication. Example: Tail wind (W) reads 40, GS 160, IAS 120, TAS 140. Wind should be 20 instead of 40. It appears that you make W=GS-IAS instead of W=GS-TAS. Can you check that please???.
OAT was ok compared to another sensor I have installed also.
My equipment: EFIS D-100, OAT sensor, Garming 196, Interface: NMEA in/NMEA Out 4800 bauds.
This inconvenience didn´t happen with previous release 4.0
Thank you! :-?

First we've heard of that. Can you take a picture of what you're seeing, making sure to include the wind, GPS groundspeed, IAS, and TAS on the screen?

I have to concurr with Kevin's comments on ensuring your static is a real and true static.

Our RV10 has had the same issues and with the TAS reading 9 knots too low at say the 170 knot range it would result in an error at low levels of say 130 feet and still around 100 feet at higher levels, I am sure Kevin can explain better.

Anyway we now have it pretty damn accurate!

Statics aint Statics! :-?
