Any problem with routing the wires from the remote compass in the same conduit as the shielded strobe leads? Assuming I maintain separation between the strobe power unit.

This post answered half my question. I was also wondering about locating the remote compass in the wingtip near the strobe light and wiring it thru the conduit that contains the shielded strobe wires. Wil the strobe light itself influence the remote compass unit?

The strobe light is high voltage but low current. Since it is the current component that generates magnetic fields, the strobe light itself should not have much of an effect on the compass. Additionally, the short duration of the power pulses further helps minimize the magnetic disturbances.
