Wiring up the ADSB Box

I will be adding the ADSB receiver to an existing Skyview-equipped RV-12. Running more wires in the RV-12 is a bit difficult. The ADAHRS is in the tailcone. I am thinking of mounting the ADSB Box and Antenna in the tailcone. IS IT POSSIBLE to simply splice into the power / ground / TX / and RX wires that go into the ADAHRS to connect to the ADSB Box? That would eliminate pulling those 4 wires through a complex path up to the instrument panel.

Also would there be an electrical load issue about the ADSB box not being on a separately fused circuit?

Whoops - I think I see that the ADSB uses a serial input not the Skyview Network like the ADAHRS. Oh well.

The ADS-B box cannot use the wires that go to the AHRS. They are on different kids of data busses and need different kinds of power.
