Yes I agree and that’s the path I thought too.
but as my luck usually works the Dynon page now doesn’t work and the data files needed to do the restore are no longer available. Every world site on the hi res page returns an error basically saying the files have been discontinued.
Funny thing...

got a very quick response from Oz Runways.
they advise that they Don’t include any terrain data in their updates or files.
so it comes back to Dynon.
Not sure that’s entirely true.
Until yesterday my System worked fine in Australia on the old Hi Res database.
Today after installing a new HDX ( well a repaired old one) and reloading all the updates etc it now gives a “ No Hi Res Terrain” warning but as of yesterday it worked fine On the old...
Same problem ( but maybe different)
I’ve just had to reinstall a repaired older HDX 1100 Screen.
It now also says ”No Hi Res Terrain”
But when I look for it ( if I can find it since I can’t remember how to find the list 🤣😂) it says it is there. It’s an old version ( maybe 2014) but it’s...
I guess the next question would be ( using your diagram and accepting it’s a Dynon 2 place intercom not a PM1000 ) if I’m happy tying all “crew” to same audio output ( ie copilot and both back passengers all hear same audio - can I just output all the crew audios on the same audio output on...
Thanks for that. I’ve just had a look at the PMA4000.
The issues I see are that the 4000 is double the price here in Australia. $1000Aus vs $2000Aus.
I’d be paying for stuff I’m never going to use. The 4000 has nav com 1 and 2. I have never had and never used a nav com device. In Oz the...
I’m in the process of building a Jabiru 430 needing 4 place intercom to go with my dual dynon radios. Although I’d prefer all Dynon to go with all the other instruments I’ve got to go with a non-dynon dedicated 4 place - planning on a PM1000 II
anyone got a circuit diagram for a working set up...
I’ve recently replaced my Dynon SV1100 in my Jabiru.
It was a simple swap in a fully functional setup. The old SV1100 has some minor issues that require it being sent back to the factory.
I had access to a new SV 1100 still in the box. So all the modules, battery and attachments etc are all...
