    ICAO Codes for DYNON SkyView

I’ve been using EB2 since the date of post #10 - no reported issues 😉.

Kavlico pressure sensors reading ~130 psi with zero psi

Also I’d confirm you have the 5vlt line, white/red stripe, connected to them - just to be sure 😉

Kavlico pressure sensors reading ~130 psi with zero psi

The resistors are for use on the ‘legacy’ (eg D120/180) units & not used on the SV series. Like GKC said - recheck your sensor definitions 😉.

Transferring airplane specific and engine settings from Skyview Touch to new HDX question

Just closing this out with a reply from Dynon a few months ago re my question about transferring from a Classic SV to HDX ---- "Jake, It will work ok doing that in most cases. Problem is that the default bottom EMS band will be black after the settings load. I have a file to restore it to...

Transferring airplane specific and engine settings from Skyview Touch to new HDX question

“The engine readings will be positioned along the bottom of the screen as is standard for the HDX. “ skysailor - have you ever done the SV to HDX change ? The engine band, on the bottom of the HDX screen, will not be displayed if you save the settings from the SV & transfer them to the HDX the...

Transferring airplane specific and engine settings from Skyview Touch to new HDX question

This link - https://dynon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/15799473535124-Installing-SkyView-HDX-After-Trade-Up Same methodology applies regardless whether you accessed the “Trade Up” program or not. You will also need ‘black menu’ file from support - it enables the bottom engine band on the new...

Compass Calibration: Looking for Alternate Method

“IF so, then a highly accurate ground calibration isn't really worth all the fuss; it just has to be accurate enough for the in-air calibration to have a "good enough" starting point. The ground calibration would also give some confidence that the magnetometer is mounted in a good enough...

D120 Aux Fuel Tank setup question

Although I personally don’t trust that an electric ( read facet) pump will work when I need to transfer fuel. in your situation I’d just add the total fuel to the computer (providing you’re satisfied with the fuel flow & bowser use match up) & just run each main down enough that the aux tank...

    No GPS lock

Could be that. Let us know how it goes with more separation of the antennas, it may help others.

More info please re connection to the Dynon system. How are the interfaces done ? ;)

Capacitance Fuel Voltage Issues - no voltage difference on Calibration

Likewise-however if you have an EFIS/EMS display it is easier to just use the Red Avionics (aka Princeton) 1 - point setup - (set empty only) & then do the calibration via the EFIS/EMS screen = simple ;)

Unstable Reading from "Resistive" (not Capacitive) Fuel Sensor in Right Tank – Calibration Issue

Fantastic result- seems like it’s all okay now 😃 FWIW I’ve never found grounding an issue for the resistive or capacitance units & seeing your setup I figure you did a great job with the build.

Unstable Reading from "Resistive" (not Capacitive) Fuel Sensor in Right Tank – Calibration Issue

Ok - back to square 1, bear with me as I'm trying to understand your setup - Post #9 shows a resistive sensor type in an Vans RV - correct? Do you have a mix of resistive & capacitive sensors as shown in post #4 ? If yes, then please explain as a 'standard' RV has only left & Right tanks & post...

Unstable Reading from "Resistive" (not Capacitive) Fuel Sensor in Right Tank – Calibration Issue

For EMS sensors it’s always better to use a ground from the Dynon EMS unit, you can pair them up if you don’t have any spare ones.😉 ps - I notice the MAP data is also fluctuating - what’s going on there ? Maybe you have other wiring issues too ?
