Sure, stay with your stool - I'm moving on to the the next job ;)

EGT CHT readings false on #1 cylinder

They’ll work for sure however more $$$ and you have to cut off the connectors on the supplied probes = a lot more work too. I usually go for cost & labour effective solutions 😉

EGT CHT readings false on #1 cylinder

I know some call us 'coneheads' but a 'mind reader' ?? NO.🤣

EGT CHT readings false on #1 cylinder

That's NOT them & 'blue' is usually for ~18-16 awg ? Thermocouple wiring that Dynon uses are in the 22-24awg ? range & need the 'red' ones to give a better outcome. Ps - I never have never used the supplied ones until just recently on a local RV- the 'new' Dynon spades are better than...

Sheilded, Unsheilded, or twisted wire for Pitot Heat?

FWIW - I've never used "shielded wire" for Pitot heat power supply (16awg) & never had any issues (also in my composite IFR plane) ;)

I hear you but are you using the AMP (TE) brand ?

EGT CHT readings false on #1 cylinder

As GKC said & I've posted several times on this forum about the reasons why some are having issues - IMO, the only simple cost effective connectors (female side is already on the probe) are the AMP brand however you should use a double jawed crimper & nowadays I also spray the connectors with...

    System Event 3

Ken, I totally agree 'we' keep talking about EFIS 'failures/reboots' issues & my method is to have an autopilot that can be driven by either the EFIS system OR an IFR Gps & have power available directly from the battery bus - just following something Bob Nuckolls wrote about some time ago. A...

Small detail that needs correcting - 1745689170293.png Pin 18 is highlighted & incorrect description? why ? Just saying 😉. ps - it’s going to the MAP in your plan.

    Auto Pilot Disconnect

My bad, I should have asked more, assumed too much 🙄😁 - A/P Panel is an unknown but likely not fitted ? Resistors = not required & not wanted/needed by some. airguy covered the power/ground possibility. If A/P panel not fitted, power & grounds are ok, & for both servos to go offline I‘d be...

    Auto Pilot Disconnect

Richard - having both servos disconnect is unusual as I’m sure you would have independent power to each ? Do you have the ‘disconnect’ resistor/s installed ? ( FWIW) I never install those & haven’t had any requests to add them. Is your AP Panel affected by the Service Bulletin ? (had to ask). 😉

Fuel Tank Calibration with the RED Avionics CP10A Converter (Capacitive/Voltage)

LNC2- 1. When you have the 1 set-point (first light on the left) ‘flashing’ then go to step 2. 2. Press the main ‘button’ once. 3. The above light should go solid. 4. All LEDS go out except green flashing every few seconds. 5. CP10A is now calibrated. - proceed to doing the standard DYNON fuel...

Dynon have any plans for more powerful Com transceiver? Garmin kicking their butt.

Do you really want to be able hear more chatter with the extra range of more powerful transmitters, I don’t. As it is now sometimes there is so much ‘talk’ that it’s hard to get to talk to atc/controllers with requests or amendments etc.
