I had a EMS module failure that took down the Skyview buss. Just big red X’s. I have a D100 for my backup. Once I got on the ground I was able to disconnect the EMS and was able to get my PFD back, but no engine info. A totally independent system is your best approach for a backup.

That is not enough burn to adjust the k-factor. i would not adjust until you burn close to a full tank. Then to fine tune, add up a couple fill ups to get a new total fuel burn, actual and SV values. kurt

I do not know any way to just turn that feature on Skyview. However, if the IFD has a discrete annunciation output you could wire it to Skyview to provide an visual and audio announcemen.

From what you describe it sounds like your WiFi adapter plugged into Skyview is failing. At least that would be my first guess as it is cheapest to try. If you have another Skyview owner at your airport you could borrow to see if it fixes you problem. Kurt

Not in my case. The easiest way to show this is by not connecting to the internet prior to a flight. Just go to your airplane and immediately connect your tablet to the Skyview network. Once you are receiving ADSB data try to look up a local airports METARs. They all will say Not Available...

Yes. The HDX will display traffic on Foreflight if you have the SV 472 ADSB receiver. You have to enable it in Foreflight

It is very easy to add a sensor calibration. In fact, I have a custom sensor file that I reload after every SV software update. It is simple. Takes about 10 seconds longer. kurt
