Good question. Since both failures occurred during engine start my first thought was voltage sag. However, both displays have batteries, which were recently tested (and passed) during condition inspection. In both instances only the PFD rebooted. MFD remained operational.

Note that the SV-AP-Panel is only active when you have configured the Autopilot for use in expert mode. If you are predominately flying VFR and have configured the Autopilot to use simplified mode, the SV-AP-Panel serves no function.
