Does any pilot know if you can transfer VFR flight plans from an iPad (Garmin Pilot/FF) to the HDX? The aircraft in question has no panel mount GPS unit. Just a VFR panel.

I actually asked a Dynon rep this question. He said they're going to do something about it. They have enough Canadian pilots to start R&R on a diversity Transponder. But no timeframe.
You're judging someone you don't know, on a world wide forum, over a question of an Autopilots capabilities........:rolleyes:
Don't get too bunched up over something typed out, but not necessarily used in the real world. All approaches must be stable.
It is annoying, for sure. I've attached some screen shots from Beechcraft forums and Dynons STC. My hangar neighbour had the same issue. Ended up installing a used Century (Edo-Aire) trim motor.....
As per the Dynon STC:

Unfortunately, I don't see a legal way around that.
Unfortunately, you can't install the AV30 as the primary standby with the Dynon kit. You can install it, but you also have to put the D30 somewhere....
I love the idea of the AV30 for a standby, and running the TailBeaconX as a diversity Transponder backup...
