The servo arm moves with stick. I thought, if sheared, it would be loose? Also, I thought there would be a fault reported? If this not correct, is there a way I can check?

Can you expand on the SV config? I currently have an old Garmin 495 connected and can use and depict on the HSI but it doesn't show as a nav source so won't drive the A/P. Hence I wondered if there was some additional config I'm missing before I purchase and hookup a BT adapter? My SV is...

I presume you have SV servos so SV is driving the autopilot with Skydemon as a Nav source to SV. Is this correct and can the BT adapter just use one of the harness serial connections ie no need for an ARINC?

Try a ‘DSUB breakout connector’. Not expensive and really helpful for tracing.

Sticky pads not the best idea for the reasons commented on. You could bolt a small ‘p’ clip to panel to side of display and then a stand-off (cable tie through piece of hose) attaching round cables and the ‘p’ clip. This would give permanence and route free of the display.

SV-D1000T at 16.4.0 Touch screen has stopped working although buttons all work fine. I tried a 'touch test' but this failed at 'Step 4 of 7'- seems it couldn't sense the top left corner when tracking top R to top L. On retry, couldn't even initiate a touch test as 'tap screen' wouldn't detect'...
