Looking at the HDX wiring diagram documentation, it shows pins 5&6 being used as data Tx & Rx from the SVCom Panel. It’s possible that the com panel is basically the same as the TC90, just packaged differently.Excellent point, well made. It would be very nice if those RS232 inputs were as you've shown. Maybe they were not on the diagram I pasted because they are just not used in a normal radio set up. I agree that Pin 5 and a ground may well allow the Bluetooth dongle to do its job. I wouldBecause of Dynon's refusal to incorporate an integrated intercom into their radio, I am fortunate in having the TC90 controller and a TY91 radio, linked to my HDX. I will eventually get round to installing the BT dongle for the autopilot and, maybe, the radio. I often use the radio transfer facility from my HDX, so I'm not really sure what difference doing it from SkyDemon would make.
On the other hand I may just do it because I like gadgets

For me, the lack of a 'memory' function to store frequently used frequencies within the HDX is a little limiting so having the ability to touch the relevant frequency in SD and dialling the HDX up would be useful. I was thinking that SD could send height information much like the heading information along the route with a view that the data could initiate a climb of descent however I hadn't really given much thought on how (or if) it could work to be honest.
