Thanks. That temp is 122 deg F though. RPM shouldn't exceed 2500 until the oil temp is greater than 121 deg. The tach changes correctly at that temp but the oil temp widget changes at some significantly higher temp, well over 122 deg.

Yeah, I figured that out. FltPlan GO makes that transfer so easy I'm partial to that. No ADS-B traffic & weather currently :( but in the works ... :)

I'm exploring Avare and haven't been able to get either traffic or weather displayed. What port did you you use with Avare I/O to connect to WiFi. I've tried the default of 43211 and 4000 but neither seemed to work. Did you have to do anything else to get it to work? Also, re. transferring...

I've been updating my RV-12 system directly from Dynon for three years without any problem. I've customized my EMS window and didn't want that disturbed. The Dynon updates leave all settings intact as far as I've been able to tell. YMMV

Don't know about for the iPad but there are a number of tracking apps for Android. I use one of those and export the track in gpx format for later use/analysis. Works pretty well. Maybe there are similar stand-alone tracker apps for the iPad ...

I've also installed 15.3.3 but haven't seen any change in the power on/off behavior. Seems like it works like it always did ...

Thanks, Tom, I'm sure that's it. I was flying with my non-pilot nephew and was frankly more attention to him than the detail. We did notice that it it seemed to change with altitude but I didn't connect it with ADSB weather. Nope, several hundred hours on Skyview, just missed it.  :o Thanks again.

Any idea what this might be? The screen started out fine then over some period of time gradually developed this purpleish overcoloring. Doesn't always happen but haven't identified anything in particular that might be behind it.

So, I went away for two weeks over the holidays. I flew the day before I left and everything was OK. I flew the day after I returned and this is what I got when I powered up. I powered down then back up several times and it eventually booted OK. When in that state, it does not respond to...
