Jeppesen data works for airport and obstacle information, but we can't display charts or plates from them. Others use Seattle Avionics for charts (no plates to my knowledge) and Jepp for airport information.

There is a small bug here that will be fixed in a future release. If you press MAP, select MAP MENU, select INFO ITEMS and set LEFT 4 to OFF it will display the WX data block with lightening turned on.

Change the color to RED on the range you wish to have the audio message and you will get the generic "Engine Monitor" message.

I had one of these cases the other day with the same warnings, turns out he had a Garmin Aera connected and it was the source of the terrain alerts. We don't have audible terrain alerts in the SkyView system.
