It's not just an antenna, it's also a receiver and has a bunch of electrical things going on. You need to check with a handheld compass and the GPS turned on to be sure. (as per the manual)

Update: Got my displays back from Dynon and all is well. My displays now dim as expected. This has been a concern since last years installation and I'm glad to have it resolved. Thanks!

The charts use a chart ID number and are referenced in Charts.txt. Adding a chart is much more complicated than finding one and editing it. You need to add the entry in Charts.txt, and add all of the appropriate information. You then also need to add a record.

Can we get an update on the current status of the Mooney AP? I haven’t seen the progress bar move in a while...

What Tailbeacon support are you looking for? It's a passive device and doesn't do ADSB in? What is there to integrate?

Yeah. I think if you mark up a existing plate it will stay that way until that specific plate is updated. Which isn’t very often. if you create a new plate and definition the plate should stay but you will have to redo the definition every time it gets updated. And I’m not sure how often that...

Thinking about this more if you copy a chart and edit the definition with the new name and coords that should work too. Would probably get wiped out on chart updates though.
