I want to tie my Garmin 400W to my HS34. I am failing to get the D100 HSI to show the 400W CDI. Its keeps saying waiting on GPS. So, will you confirm I have the 400W and HS34 configured properly? Below is what I plan to put in the 400W:

Can I connect a wire from my garmin 400W unit to my HS34 that will show DME (to whatever waypoint is in my 400W) on my D100? If yes, what wire from the 400W?
Can I run a Garmin 400W, an IFLY 740 and my SL30 through the HS34?
If yes, would I connect the 400W to HS34 pins 11, 13, 25, 25 and connect the IFLY to HS34 pins 10,12,22,24 and connect the SL30 to HS34 pins 15 and 2?
I have my D100 tied to an SL30. I flew the LOC BC 4 at KTXK today, and I was getting reverse sensing on my D100. I thought the HSI on the D100 would not "reverse sense". What am I missing here?
ok, thanks. just wanted to make sure there was nothing I could do. Other than shell out the $$ for a 430 of course! It doesn't bother me that much.... :) :)
I have a D100 and an IFLy720 gps driving my autopilot. when I get to a waypoint, and make a turn to the next waypoint, it always overshoots, and corrects back on course (see the photo). Is there any way to correct this in the autopilot settings? Like turn anticipation....
I have the D100 in my plane, so no go around mode. I will fly again to see gather more info. It could have been erroneous info from IFLY, but I don't think I will ever be able to determine that. I will try track and heading mode too. That is a good idea. I will report back.
I have had my dynon autopilot connected and flying via my IFLY720 for about 6 trouble free months. Yesterday, after flying on the autopilot for about 30 trouble free minutes, it started flying me in 360 degree circles. So, after about the third circle, I disengaged the AP and continued on my...
Jake, please see post #1. Thanks.
It shows the proper amount when I hit fill. I just need to know which way to move the k factor to increase the fuel burn!
no, not exactly. Its just always showing more than whats actually in the tank by 2-4 gallons. I think I need to adjust my K value to increase the fuel burn, but I confused myself about whether I increase the K value to increase fuel burn or vice versa.
I was referring to the "fuel remaining" computation, not the fuel level. Sorry for any confusion.
The fuel remaining calculation always says there are 2 more gallons remaining in the tank than what is actually in the tank.
I know this because when I pull up to the fuel pump, I note how much...
from the manual: The general rule of thumb: if your GALS (or LTRS) USED reads higher than you expect, increase the K-factor; if it reads lower than you expect, decrease the K-factor
I have gone braindead. My D120 always says I have about 2 more gallons in the tank than actual. Sooooo, do I...
