    A/P Question

I have not had any luck in resolving this issue. I tried changing the A/P settings, and I did take a datalog file last time I was up. I am just not having any luck uploading it to rapidshare. My home connection might be too slow. Maybe I'll try uploading from work tomorrow. -Mike

    Shock Cooling Detection

Can you set up shock cooling detection in the SkyView? I looked in the manuals, rev H and could not find any reference to it. I know my D180 had it, but can't seem to find it in the SkyView. Am I overlooking it? Thanks -Mike Kraus RV-10 43 hours Still wanting audible alarms and downloadable...

    Weather on the Skyview

Carl, I agree, but the point is the D10 and D180 have this functionallity already, so why does their premier product not have them? Dynon does not have weather on any product, so I understand that may take some time to sort out. But they have already sorted out the logistics for checklists...

    A/P Question

When I engage the altitude part of the A/P, is always flies 40' higher than target. For instance, if I select 3000' and engage the A/P, it will level out at 3040' and fly there. It is irrespective of altitude, always 40' over target. Any ideas what I can do??

    Weather on the Skyview

Thanks for the reply.  I flew with a D180 in my RV-4 since it first came out.  I used the checklist feature exclusively for pre takeoff checklists.  I never mentioned but always wanted the rpm to show on the checklist so when I did the run up and mag check I wouldn't have to leave the checklist...

    Weather on the Skyview

Hopefully after audible alarms, checklists, and data logging. I'm still astonished that after 1.5 years after the product launch, this basic functionallity is not available. Especially since it was available on my old D180 for years!!

    Data logging in Skyview

I agree, it seems silly that I can log the data on my RV-4 with the D180, but a year after its release, I still can't on the SkyView. I think things like this and the g-meter are assumed basic features, especially since they have been incorporated on all the other Dynon EFIS/ engine monitors....

Dynon Avionics Offers $1000 Rebate to BMA Owners

Re: Dynon Avionics Offers $1000 Rebate to BMA Owne You will need new CHT probes (BMA uses thermister type). EGT's will work with the SkyView. You'll need new fuel and oil pressure senders. New OAT sender, new amp sensors. Fuel flow will work. I also had to buy a new oil temp sensor.....

I was told later it will take frequencies from the SkyView. I have mine hooked up to a Garmin GPS instead, as it transfers frequencies currently.
