@ Dynon Support. Thinking further about this. Is right then if I understand that the RS232 (or rather NMEA string) out of the G430 is different to that of a GNC255? Sounds like that if the SV has the ability to discriminate between them? Please explain if possible.

So if I have a G430 it will work and will get that from the G430 flight plan as explained on page 7-47?

Thanks Paul330. I have connected the VOR/ILS out lines from the CNG to the Arinc 429 and can now see the NAV needle on SV as well as a little box with Nav1 and the tuned frequency. Does that sound right?

OK - Wehave upgraded to6.2 this morning and so far it is looking much better. Did about 10 cycles switching on and both came on every time.
