    Software update procedure

Agreed that there's room for improvement here. Additionally, know that on systems that have OEM configuration and control, buttons 7/8 only let you load software, though you're right in that it would be better if it also let you see database status. Know that SkyView will let you know on...

Removal of the roll arc from the trim widget

When you say there is no pin assigned, we mean that you need to clear the pin that is assigned aileron under SETUP MENU > EMS SETUP > SENSOR INPUT MAPPING. The pin in question will have POSITION in both the "function" and "sensor" columns, and AILERN in the "name" column. Note that you may need...

    Skyview tach fluctuating (Rotax 914)

Well, it's more that it shouldn't be necessary. The resistors just serve to change the level of the voltage pulses. So if that helped, it's absolutely acceptable. It certainly won't harm anything. I'd just make sure that you still have a consistent and accurate reading when at lower RPMs (where...

    Percent Power calculation dropping out

If any fuel flow or manifold pressure were grossly misreading, that could cause the calculation to be dramatically wrong, which under some circumstances may be inhibited. Ditto for the horsepower setting in setup.

    Dynon S Mode Transponders

Yes, the SV-XPNDR-262 will work and wake up the ADS-B system, but, technically it doesn't meet the power output requirements to be 2020-compliant.

    Skyview for foreign setup

All of the manuals are at http://docs.dynonavionics.com. Yes, all of those are possible and adjustable.

    Skyview tach fluctuating (Rotax 914)

So just to be clear, you should have the following connections: Connect Pin 13 of the TCU to SV-EMS-220 Pin 34 (Low Voltage RPM Left Input). Connect Pin 26 of the TCU to any of Pins 3, 5, 13, 16, 17, or 30 (Ground). Do not install a resistor in the wires between the TCU and the SV-EMS-220...

Dual GPS receivers and RS-232 to SV-ARINC-429

Yes, but that is by design. The RS-232 is only used to "complete" the otherwise incomplete raw GPS positional data set that comes over ARINC-429 by augmenting it with Aviation format serial data. It doesn't affect SkyView's ability to see both sources' navigational information.

    Software update procedure

You can try going to LOAD FILES and then load the .duc file manually, but, that's not likely to work. It sounds like your system is part of an LSA or other similar class of aircraft where the OEM is controlling the settings and version of software that is available. In this case, the updates...

    Skyview Setup menu

On systems that have OEM configuration and control, buttons 7/8 only let you load software, though you're right in that it would be better if it also let you see database status. One thing to know is that SkyView will let you know on startup, on the map page, whether any of your databases are...

FAA ADSB Compliance Report is Perfect!

tomscub - where are you in the country? At this moment, the ADS-B system does not care whether you have a compliant GPS on board or not when it sees an ADS-B out signal and feeds you back the traffic picture. (That's due to slightly change in 2016, but we'll have an update that will allow...

    DSAB error - EFIS D10A, EMS D10, HS34

If it's ONLY the HS34 that loses connection, the problem is likely to be there. As a general troubleshooting step, though, you might try disconnecting various pieces of equipment from DSAB to see if that makes a difference. If you have JUST the D10A and HS34 connected, does it still act up?

    Why Serial *in* on GPS?

Theoretically software updates, but we've never had the need for one with the SV-GPS-250. We could reasonably confidently delete those wires from that product. With the SV-GPS-2020 being new (well, not even yet), we'll probably keep the wiring the same for that as well in case we learn something...
