    SV1000T failure in flight

Yes, you need to pull a diagnostic file and talk to Support.

We did that with our 172R model a few years ago - you'll love it!

    Sidestep TRK?

Emphasized portion there - not an ATC clearance, but an operations standard, and apparently only applicable on oceanic tracks. Makes good sense in that scenario I guess, the aircraft is off-radar anyway, more freedom to "operate as appropriate".

    Sidestep TRK?

Been flying for 25 years, I've never heard that clearance. YMMV.

    "position unknown"

Same - with my Avidyne 440, it won't get a position in the hangar but my Skyview will.

Transfer IFR approach from Seattle Avionics subscription to FPL

Agreed on all points. I'm running an Avidyne 440 for IFR, but the Dynon approach plates from Seattle Avionics with georeferenced positioning would allow in a pinch to fly the lateral limits, and just fly step-down altitudes. Wouldn't be pretty but it would work.

Transfer IFR approach from Seattle Avionics subscription to FPL

This is a slippery slope, providing the ability to shoot an approach without a certified receiver. I get it that people want it, and the device is capable of doing it, but I also see this is ripe for abuse. Barring a ramp check, which is pretty uncommon, nothing stops a pilot from flying...

    What's needed for IFR training

Caution on the cable splitter for the glideslope - the device you want to use there is actually a DIPLEXER, not a generic splitter. It's a band-pass filter combined with a splitter that increases the signal-to-noise ratio of each output stream for better long-range reception.

Transfer IFR approach from Seattle Avionics subscription to FPL

Marc - will the G3X supply a glideslope for the vertical navigation? Or do you have to fly step-down altitudes?

Transfer IFR approach from Seattle Avionics subscription to FPL

You can load the charts from a USB to display on the HDX, with your aircraft geo-referenced over the top of the chart and "fly" the airplane along the charted path by using the autopilot and TRK function, but there is not a way to automatically load the waypoints of an approach into the HDX and...

    Two independant Fuel Flow Senders

I'm wondering if there is a way in the DFG file to note the value of the second fuel sender to negative? So when it subtracts it from the first value you end up summing them?

    Two independant Fuel Flow Senders

Marc is right. Given the data you have supplied, the sensors will work just fine. Whether you choose to accept that or not is up to you. There may be other circumstances that may make those sensors unacceptable for one reason or another, but you are clearly unwilling to share that information...

Can't get auto trim to work ...

Whose clutch and servo? Not Dynon's....

Can't get auto trim to work ...

Sorry, no. The clutch is magnetic and requires no voltage to operate. The trim amp, on the other hand, very well may - which would lead to an electrical installation problem.

    VS 0 mode

From the FM, (Users guide, revision K, bottom of page 8-1) :p "The autopilot’s Level Mode (or Straight and Level Mode) will immediately attempt to reach zero vertical speed and a roll angle of zero. It will not attempt to fly the aircraft to any previous altitude or track and it will not...
