I've had the same experience, but it's very intermittent. I will get like 3 - 4 alerts in a 1 hour of formation. Not sure why it decides that sometimes there is an alert condition but most of the time not. Agree it would be great if there was a way to deal with it.

As a data point. I upgraded to v14 when it first came out and have not had ANY problems with it. So there's some specifics related to configuration that are at play with the failures. In my case I have a single 10" skyview screen, with AHARS, EMS, ADSB, Transponder. NO Autopilot servos. Thus...

Thanks for the hint KellyM. Now that I unlocked the sheet, looks like the issue is the data validation on those title fields is "field = 40" instead it should be "field <= 40". If you want to update for version 3. :)

So the new V2 version of the spreadsheet seems to have a bug. I'm on the MAC using Excel 14.6.0 It now will not allow entry of the titles. No matter what you put in it says your title must be less than 40 characters.

Yep, I agree. It would be a great addition to have a Skyview remote indicator. Similar to the Garmin unit that has come out. I wanted this for my RV-8 so I installed the AFS-Pro AOA system in parallel to the skyview which required more wiring, an extra box to mount and of course cost.

Yep me too. Same symptoms. I just updated to iOS 8.4 and will also be testing. I was wondering if the location of the WIFI antenna dongle had something to do with it. I have it behind the panel in my RV-8 at this point. Was thinking about moving it in front of the panel to test.

So I was testing my setup this weekend per the Support instructions and found that I had not put the "N" in front of my N number in the system setup. Once I updated that my ghosts seemed to disappear (for now at least).

I do have to say, the press and hold to set as you approach your destination airport is one of the nicest features of the ADSB integration.

So I'm not so sure about this. As I said all the Garmin units have this feature. So today I was out flying and already on the skyview is the "bearing to waypoint" where it gives you a heading. So by looking at that heading and flying the gps track you go directly to the waypoint. Only thing...

Ok ok, I get it... Jus remember not all of us out there are flying autopilots and IFR. some of us like just want wander around and eventually get there! :) I'll fly it some more and see how it goes!

I put it on the firewall FWF side up high on my RV-8. I believe the manual says it can go either location. It looks to be a very robust part.
